*This is a post about the Myer Giftorium event I attended.
Last Friday, I was invited to attend the launch of Myer’s Christmas Giftorium for 2015. I’m always looking for great gift ideas to share with you, so I knew it would be the perfect event to find the latest ideas and products that would be just the thing for Christmas this year. I wasn’t disappointed.
Myer Melbourne treated us to their new Giftorium on Level 6 of the Bourke St store, which is really a one-stop-shop for Christmas gift ideas for everyone on your list. Giftoriums will be in every Myer store in the lead up to Christmas, so you don’t have to make a big trip into a big city if you would rather shop closer to home. The Giftorium is beautifully presented and easy to get around.
This year there is a big focus on personalised gifts, and I just loved getting my name on a Nutella jar and on a Snoopy print! Having an irregularly spelled name, it’s always extra special to have something personalised! They also have Mr Men and Little Miss, which make for some sweet gifts. They make them for you on the day, so you can pop in and choose from the designs and they will make them up for you. So cool!
I really loved the range of gift ideas available and I spent over an hour just looking around at all the possibilities. They have great kids toys and something for teens, tweens and adults too. There’s a For Him section if you’re looking for gift ideas for the guys in your life and I think the games and puzzles section is going to be a hit this season.
If you’re looking for something nostalgic for kids of the 80s and 90s, the Giftorium has both an Atari Flashback console and a Sega Megadrive and both come with the classic games you know and love. They would also be a great way to introduce games of the past to a new generation. Fun for the whole family!
Be sure to go in with the names of who you need to shop for, so you make it easier to remember who’s on your list and take a look through all the great options they have put in one place. I love that it makes shopping so efficient and they will even have their Giftorium Microsite online from November 14, if online shopping is more your style.
They also have a wrapping service for those who don’t love to wrap or feel you don’t have the time, making it easy to get that job taken care of too! Because I love wrapping I didn’t take them up on their offer, but I love that it’s an option, particularly as the silly season kicks in!
For those who love the Myer Christmas Windows, they will be launching on November 10 in Melbourne and Brisbane! I can’t wait to see what the Windows hold this year!
Thank you to Myer for inviting me along to this event! I really enjoyed the day. Thanks for making my Christmas shopping easier! I’m sure I’ll be back to finish off my shopping as the hardest part was being spoiled for choice!
Have you started your Christmas Shopping? Do you like to buy a bit at a time, or get it all done in one go?
*Disclaimer: I was invited to the Myer Christmas Giftorium event and received some gifts for attending and have been reimbursed for my time on this post. All opinions are my own and I only share what I think you’ll love! I was genuinely impressed and just had to share! x D
